Site Consolidation:
Site Consolidation is aiming towards single source of data and processes across the extended enterprise by reducing the number of Teamcenter Sites in an organization to further improve IT (Centralization, Infrastructure Cost Reduction, Ease of Upgradability and Maintainability) Application(reduced costs & time to implement PLM technology) and Individual (Standard Processes, Single Source of Truth, Unified Application) productivity. It involves moving data & processes from source site to a target site with source site made extinct in most cases.
